George & Ann Rowe

George and Ann Rowe have always had a desire to create something beautiful. On a trip to Galena, Illinois, they discovered a hot glass shop in Shake Rag Alley. They watched the artists work for hours and the whole experience lead them to choose glass art as their medium. They took workshops at “Hands On Art” in Door County, Wisconsin, and after creating three glass projects they decided to go all in and set up a studio in their home. After many years of experimenting and creating, George and Ann have become masters of the art. Today, Ann specializes in fused glass art using a variety of colors and textures in her art pieces and jewelry. George has branched off into the development of clear glass sculptures, from 2 inch pieces to 2 foot pieces, his work sparkles with refracted light.
