Lisa Sambor

Lisa Sambor received a BA in Communications Design with a minor in Fine Arts at the University of Illinois Chicago in 1980. She pursued a career in graphic design and advertising, becoming an Art Director and Creative Director at several firms in Chicago. After leaving the corporate world, Lisa followed her passion in the fine arts and found clay to be a natural transition. Her work reflects the foundations of graphic design using repeating grid patterns in clay, like those seen in printed formats.

Lisa established her studio in Harvard’s Starline Factory 16 years ago and has her art in private collections across the country.
